All Crofil 3D filaments are proudly developed and manufactured in Croatia. Our production facility utilizes advanced extrusion technology and continuous laser diameter control (±0.02/0.03 mm), ensuring premium European quality, print reliability, and support for the local economy.

The Crofil 3D product range offers a wide selection of high-quality materials for all types of projects—from hobbyist applications to demanding industrial use. Our lineup includes:

Engineering Composites: PA6-CF (carbon fiber reinforced nylon) for maximum strength.

Standard and Advanced Materials: PLA (Basic & High Speed), PETG, and ASA.

Aesthetic Filaments: PLA Silk (high gloss), PLA Marble, and PETG Marble (realistic marble/stone effect).

Functional and Visual Materials: PETG MATT (excellent matte finish that hides layer lines).

The choice depends on the intended application of your model:

ASA is a high-strength technical material, resistant to temperatures up to around 100∘C and UV radiation. It is ideal for outdoor use and automotive parts, but requires a stable ambient temperature (enclosed printer) during printing.

PLA is the easiest to print, making it perfect for highly detailed visual models, prototypes, and figures. It emits no unpleasant odors and does not require an enclosed printer.

PETG is the “sweet spot”—combining the printing ease of PLA with mechanical resistance and flexibility. It is excellent for functional parts subjected to moderate stress and chemicals.

Crofil 3D PA6-CF is a premium engineering filament made of nylon (Polyamide 6) reinforced with a high content of carbon fibers.

Note: Due to the abrasive nature of carbon fibers, it is mandatory to use a hardened steel or sapphire/ruby nozzle with a minimum diameter of 0.4 mm.

Characteristics: It features extreme structural strength, high rigidity, excellent impact resistance, and superb thermal stability (up to 150∘C−180∘C after annealing).

Applications: Metal replacement parts, heavy-duty functional prototypes, robotic components, jigs, and fixtures in the automotive and aerospace industries.

Our aesthetic filaments are engineered to mask layer lines and give your models a professional appearance without the need for post-processing:

PETG MATT: Neutralizes the natural gloss of PETG, creating a deep, matte finish. It is exceptionally good at hiding layer lines, giving models a premium, industrial look.

PLA Silk: Contains special additives that give the print a luxurious, silky shine and a smooth finish that reflects light beautifully.

PLA & PETG Marble: Infused with tiny particles that realistically mimic the texture and appearance of natural marble or stone—ideal for architectural models, vases, and sculptures.

While optimal settings may vary depending on your 3D printer and print speed, we recommend the following baseline guidelines:

PA6-CF: Nozzle: 260∘C−290∘C | Bed: 90∘C−100∘C (dry chamber/pre-drying recommended)

PLA (Basic, Silk, Marble): Nozzle: 190∘C−220∘C | Bed: 50∘C−60∘C

PETG (Basic, Matt, Marble): Nozzle: 230∘C−250∘C | Bed: 70∘C−80∘C

ASA: Nozzle: 240∘C−260∘C | Bed: 90∘C−110∘C

All 3D filaments are hygroscopic to some degree (they absorb moisture from the air), which can cause bubbling, popping, and poor part strength.

Drying: PETG and ASA absorb moisture at a slower rate, whereas PA6-CF is extremely sensitive and can absorb moisture within just a few hours. If you notice poor surface quality, we recommend drying the filament in a dedicated dryer: PETG at 65∘C (approx. 4-6h), and PA6-CF at 80∘C−90∘C for 6-12 hours prior to printing.

Storage: After opening, store the filaments in our resealable zip-lock bag with the included desiccant (silica gel) packet.
